The Premier Series Returns In July!

Old and New WNL Facilities will be hosting the next incredible installment of the competition series!

Last year, the inaugural Premier Series ignited the spark of athletes all over the world. With the introduction of the new Challenge Course format and seven incredible qualifiers all building into the epic Finals (all broadcast on the WNL YouTube), the Premier Series positively impacted the sport of Ninja in nearly every way. That’s exactly why this year, we are delighted to announce Season 2 of the Premier Series!

The Premier Series will once again be a competition series consisting of athletes ranked in the top 25% of leaderboards per region from either the Season IX Regular Season Standings or the Tier 1 World Championships. Athletes will compete on a Placement Course, following our Flow Course format. This course will determine the run order for the Challenge Course, where only the top 4 athletes in each division will advance to the Premier Series Finals.

Athletes can expect a base registration fee of $115, with an optional $20 add-on purchase to include professional photography at the event. Prizes will be awarded to 1st-5th place of the Elite divisions, and 1st-3rd place of every other division. As a reminder, the division an athlete falls into is determined by the division they competed in during Season IX of the World Ninja League.

This season of the Premier Series will be even bigger than the last! With 9 qualifiers across 4 countries, we’re sure to expect astonishing action from athletes all over the world. Read on to find out more about our exciting Qualifier and Finals locations! As a reminder, any athlete can compete at any qualifying event, regardless of their home region, if they are invited via the invite system.

New England – Stamford Ninja Academy (Connecticut) – July 20-21

Ninja legend and former WNL champion Joe Moravsky leads a stacked crew of elite ninjas at this prominent New England gym!! Stamford’s course design is always a hit, and includes all sorts of dynamic tech in its long obstacle lanes. Who will step up to the challenge at the first Premier Series event in Connecticut?

Northeast – Ferox Ninja Park (New York) – July 27-28

Ferox Ninja Park, with courses by the great Zack Eichenstein, Ramcis Valdez, Xavier Dantzler, and Kevin Carbone, is remembered by many as the host facility of last season’s Premier Series Finals! After two amazing competitions in the Premier Series, the Ferox team is ready to bring their talent and experience to the course once again. History was made at Ferox last season. Will it repeat itself this time around?

South Central – Austin Ninjas (Texas) – August 17-18

Nick Fordney and the Austin Ninjas team has shown time and time again that they’re more than capable of bringing the heat to any style of competition. Whether it’s the Tier 2 Championships or last year’s Premier Series Qualifier, Austin Ninjas’ events always provide surprises and entertainment. We’re very excited and honored to have them return for this season!

Australia – The Compound (Victoria) – August 31-September 1

Jumping back into the WNL action is The Compound, most notably known for hosting the last 2 National Championships of the Ninja Challenge League! This crew is no stranger to high-stakes events, and they’ll be bringing their expertise and super challenging courses to the Premier Series to push their athletes to the limit. As a reminder, 2 of last season’s Premier Series Champions hailed from down under. Could more be on the way?

Rocky Mountain – Ark Ninja (Colorado) – September 7-8

While Ark Ninja may be a new gym to the Ninja World, the facility is in the majorly capable hands of Nate Hansen and Austin Gray. After years of great coaching and course design, the dynamic duo is bringing all their skills to the Premier Series for all of our incredibly dedicated Rocky Mountain athletes. Who knows? Maybe some new threats for the title will emerge in this new terrain…

Northwest – Life Force Ninja (Washington) – September 21-22

Created by Season VIII Award Winners for Best Course Design Jadyn Welch and Becca Margulies, Life Force Ninja is back for the Premier Series! Athletes can expect unique obstacles on an awe-inspiring course. Last season, many top American and Canadian athletes featured at Life Force, and we look forward to their return this season!

United Kingdom –  True Function Ninja Training Ground (Swindon) – September 28-29

A returning Premier Series facility, True Function provided last season’s extraordinary European field, featuring athletes from the UK, France, Germany, Poland, Italy, and more! Switzerland – Overground (Basel) – October 5-6

Joining the Premier Series fray this season is Overground, one of the largest Ninja facilities in the world! We can’t wait to see how the European Ninja scene explodes into the Premier Series as their backgrounds of Ninja, parkour, and bungees all integrate into this electric qualifier!

Southeast –  SoFlo Ninja Academy (Florida) – October 12-13

SoFlo has become one of the most visited competition hotspots in the Southeast region, so it’s fitting that they’re hosting this qualifier in the Southeast. While on the younger side of a Ninja facility’s lifespan, the team of Vinnie Castranova and RJ Roman brings a combined decade of experience to SoFlo, more than preparing it for the dominant competitors about to enter their doors this season.

Heartland – Motus Ninjas (Missouri) – October 19-20

The final Premier Series Qualifier of the season will be hosted by returning facility Motus Ninjas in Lee’s Summit. Longtime Ninja fan, competitor, and coach Donovan Metoyer will once again take the reins on the courses for this event. Last season’s Motus competition featured obstacles from nearly every era of the sport of Ninja, all done with a new creative spin by Metoyer. Excitement is high as we wait to see what’s going to happen this time around!

All 9 of these qualifiers will feed into the best of the best that is our Championship event, which will be held at…
