The Premier Series features the top 25% of athletes from around the globe. This series pushes athletes to their limits, challenging them on courses designed by the best course designers. The World Ninja League Premier Series is the ultimate test of strength, speed, and agility.
Inside The Mall at Solomon Pond, a former Forever 21 has been transformed into 11,000 square feet of ninja.
Ascend Marlborough was built for progression. From athletes discovering the sport to competitors chasing their biggest stages. Its in-house workshop, built by Steve Shahnamian, gives the Ascend team the ability to create, build, and reimagine obstacles right inside the facility. And with enough trussing to stretch higher than the 597-foot Statue of Unity, there’s plenty of room to think big.
For Premier Series Finals, that means a space ready to become something entirely new.
New obstacles. A championship course. The best of the Premier Series coming together under one roof.

Take your place alongside qualified Premier Series athletes and compete for the Finals podium on two courses created for the championship stage.

Prize money and Worlds qualification spots will be awarded to the top 3 athletes in every Premier Series division, giving athletes across the Finals field the opportunity to compete for a cash prize.
Elite athletes will compete for an expanded prize pool, with cash awarded through fifth place.

Spectator admission is included with Finals athlete registration, so family, friends, coaches, and supporters can experience the weekend alongside you without purchasing separate spectator passes.

Gavin Obey
Gavin Obey knows what it feels like to step onto a course with everything on the line.
Since discovering ninja in 2017, Gavin has grown from a young athlete into an accomplished competitor, coach, and course designer. He has earned six top-10 finishes at World Ninja League Finals and took his skills to ANW Season 16, advancing all the way to the Las Vegas Finals.
Today, Gavin brings that competitive experience to Ascend Marlborough, coaching athletes from their first obstacles through the World Championships.
Now, he’s helping build the challenge for the Premier Series Finals.
From competing on the biggest courses to creating the next one.
James Burns
For James Burns, ninja is as much about creating the challenge as conquering it.
A Ninja competitor and experienced coach at Ascend Marlborough, James has built a passion for obstacle design, course rigging, and finding new ways to test what athletes can do. After competing on Seasons 14 and 16 of ANW, he returned as a course tester for Season 17.
Now, he’s bringing that experience to the Premier Series Finals.
