We’re taking the Premier Series back to True Function Ninja Training Ground!

As a cornerstone of the UK ninja community, this facility features a course designed by the legendary Dion Trigg and Emily Morton. Known for their innovative approach and grueling standards, Dion and Emily are set to deliver a British gauntlet that is as creative as it is demanding.

The Premier Series features the top 25% of athletes from around the globe. This series pushes athletes to their limits, challenging them on courses designed by the best course designers. The World Ninja League Premier Series is the ultimate test of strength, speed, and agility.

About the Facility

Located in Swindon, England, True Function Ninja Training Ground (TFNTG) is a dedicated ninja obstacle training facility welcoming athletes from beginner through elite level. Built around challenge, progression, and a “Never Give Up” mindset, TFNTG helps athletes develop the strength, technique, confidence, and resilience needed to take on obstacles both on and off the course.

TFNTG has welcomed athletes from across the UK and around the world, creating a training environment where athletes of all levels can challenge themselves and continue to grow. With structured coaching for youth and adults and a strong focus on athlete development, TFNTG brings together skill, community, and a passion for the sport of ninja.

The World Ninja League is excited to bring Premier Series competition to TFNTG and welcome athletes for an exciting weekend of competition.

Meet the Course Designers

Dion Trigg
Dion Trigg is the founder and Head Coach of TFNTG and an international Ninja Warrior athlete whose competitive journey has taken him to seven different countries.

His experience as both an athlete and coach has shaped TFNTG’s approach to training, with an emphasis on confidence, determination, adaptability, and developing the skills needed to overcome challenging obstacles.

As a course designer, Dion brings an international competitive perspective alongside years of experience developing ninja athletes.

Emily Mortin
Emily Mortin is an experienced ninja athlete and coach who has trained at TFNTG for eight years.

She was a Grand Finalist on Ninja Warrior UK Series 6: Race for Glory and works alongside Dion coaching athletes at TFNTG.

Emily’s experience as both a competitor and coach gives her a strong understanding of technique, progression, and the challenges that push athletes to perform at their best.

Level Up is opening its doors for a special qualifier!

The On-Site Qualifier is a global qualifying opportunity intended to provide equitable access to the World Championships for athletes and staff who may not otherwise have a practical pathway to qualification.

Who: Eligibility is limited to the following individuals who have not yet qualified for the current season’s Tier 1 or Tier 2 World Championship:

  1. Non-US-based athletes, regardless of country of residence

  2. Staff members of facilities that hosted a Regional Championship or All-Star Competition during the current season.

What: A single course that will follow the Challenge Course format scoring and rules, as well as applicable standards for Tier 1 and Tier 2.

Why: Successful full completion of the designated course will earn the athlete qualification to the current season’s corresponding Tier 1 or Tier 2 World Championship.

Award Ceremonies will take place at the Coliseum on Friday 6/19 around 6:00 PM.
