Welcome to WNL News!

Here’s what to expect from our latest addition to the realm of Ninja.

Hello! Welcome to the News Section of the World Ninja League. There’s a lot to unpack here, so I’ll cut right to the chase.

My name is Kane Casillas. I’m 20 years old and am currently living on the island of Kaua’i, Hawai’i. I’ve grown up there my whole life, and since I was four I’ve been a massive fan of all things Ninja. However, Hawai’i doesn’t have anything Ninja related. While all of you amazing athletes got to compete and learn new tricks, I was always on the sidelines.

I’ve done everything I could to stay involved in Ninja, even from a distance. Even if I couldn’t train on obstacles or go to competitions, I followed every show and league around the world for years. I still do, and even started my own YouTube channel about Ninja. If you want some obscure facts about Ninja that can’t be easily found online, I’m your guy.

I have always wanted Ninja to be part of my life, and the WNL News Section gives me that opportunity. I graduated in May 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, and thankfully the WNL family has given me the opportunity to apply my skills to Ninja, combining my two favorite things in one job!

So what can you expect from this section of the WNL site? Lots of articles, for starters. These articles will cover notable results and moments throughout the regular season, highlight elite athletes, put the spotlight on original obstacle ideas and include important updates to the WNL.

Not only will there be a lot of information here, but I hope this site becomes a way for Ninja athletes and coaches to see how each other are doing and what new ideas are being introduced to courses.

The 2023 World Ninja League Championships is on June 23-25, and I will most certainly be there covering as much of the action as possible. I look forward to meeting you all and to strengthening the voice of Ninja as a sport. I believe we have something truly special in the WNL and am so excited to offer my skills to the table. Until then, I hope you enjoy the articles coming out over the next year!
