Canada is home to many of the world’s best Ninjas, and we at the World Ninja League have partnered with the Canadian Ninja League in order to provide the highest level of competitions to all Canadian athletes! Now, WNL Qualifiers qualify Canadian athletes for WNL Regionals and CNL Stage 2 Competitions. Inversely, CNL Stage 1 Competitions also qualify athletes for WNL Regionals and CNL Stage 2 Competitions. For more clarification on how many athletes advance, continue reading!
Yes! We encourage athletes to compete in both WNL and CNL competitions for the highest competitive experiences offered to Canadian Ninjas. All athletes are allowed to compete in WNL Qualifiers and CNL Stage 1 Competitions, and may choose to participate in any higher-level competitions they qualify for as a result.
If a Canadian athlete is one of the top 3 non-qualified athletes at a WNL Tier 1 Qualifier, that athlete will qualify for both a WNL Tier 1 Regional and a CNL Stage 2 Competition.
If a Canadian athlete places in the Top 5 or Top 50% of athletes (whichever number is higher) at a CNL Stage 1 Competition, that athlete will then qualify for both a WNL Tier 1 Regional and a CNL Stage 2 Competition.
The Canadian province an athlete competes in determines the WNL Tier 1 Regional they qualify for:
No, WNL Tier Regionals only qualify athletes for the WNL Tier 1 Championships. Canadian athletes cannot qualify for the CNL Eastern Finals, Western Finals, or National Finals through a WNL Tier 1 Regional.
No, CNL Stage 2 Competitions only qualify athletes for the CNL Eastern and Western Finals. Which event athletes qualify for is determined by the location of the Stage 2 Competition.
The top 10 athletes per division at the CNL National Finals will qualify for the WNL Tier 1 Championships.
