Anyone can sign up for Tier 1 competitions, but they are intended for skill levels from intermediate all the way up to elite!
Athlete’s age division will be determined by the athlete’s age on January 1 of the upcoming/current season.
There are four types of sanctioned competition formats for Tier 1 ninja competitions! Read a brief overview of each below, or check out our Formats page to learn more.
Every obstacle matters in this format. Athletes will attempt to do all the obstacles in a ninja course within a time limit. Athletes will be ranked by who completed the hardest obstacles!
Perfection is key in this format! Athletes will attempt to do all the obstacles in a ninja course without falling off or touching something out of bounds. Athletes will be ranked by who completed the most obstacles in succession in the least time.
Athletes will have multiple attempts to figure out the toughest points during a course run in this popular new twist on the traditional Flow Course format!
Obstacle specialists will find the skills format very exciting. Skills competitions isolate obstacles from ninja courses and allow athletes to showcase their obstacle specific abilities on different types of obstacle.
